I’m very happy to have such good friends like Farshid and Ali. They threw a birthday celebration for me, and we celebrated before heading to the river for some fishing. I even used the beautiful hats they gave me while fishing, and these photos are from today!

I have used different patterns during this season, and over the past ten years, I’ve tried a lot of different flies for coho salmon. But one of the best flies that I truly believe in for coho salmon is green flies. As I’ve often emphasized, make sure to use green flies, and here are examples of some of the best green flies I’ve tested and used to catch fish!

Today, I went fly fishing again after work and catch two wild coho salmon. Today was different because I saw my good friend @bc_fly_fishing after a month, and we went fishing together again.

This is the second cohosalmon I’ve caught this season, and I’m very, very happy that today I was able to catch this trout in just one hour of fishing after work.
