Who is the ebi Fisher?

Who is the ebi Fisher?

I want to write a post about myself as “Ebi Fisher.” I have twenty years of fly fishing experience and emigrated from Iran to Canada, with nature and fishing being my main reasons for moving. I studied physical education and earned a bachelor’s degree. I have a deep passion for fishing, especially fly fishing, and now it’s the only type of fishing I do—I’m fully dedicated to it. I also love living in Canada, the place I now call home.

I have extensive experience in fly fishing. For example, I traveled to Costa Rica one year to catch tarpon, landing several using my fly fishing system—two of them weighing over one hundred pounds. After that, I went to Mexico three times to fish, also using fly fishing to catch many fish in the sea. I also have fly fishing experience in Turkey, as well as in Iran, where I started out in the sport. Here in Canada, I’ve traveled to other provinces, like Saskatchewan, to gain more fly fishing experience.

I have over twenty years of experience as a fishing blogger and am one of the earliest bloggers in Iran in this field, taking it very seriously. My Instagram has over eighty-five thousand followers, and I manage a fishing group on Facebook with more than thirteen thousand members. I’m also active on other social media platforms and truly enjoy this work, sharing the world of sport fishing with everyone.

Fishing on Remembrance Day: Honoring Tradition and Nature

Today, on Remembrance Day, while Canada honors the sacrifices of its fallen heroes, I chose to pay my respects in a unique way—by heading to the river, where I find both peace and reflection. Armed with my fly fishing gear, I set out early, aiming to capture the elusive coho salmon and immerse myself in the natural beauty that we are fortunate to enjoy thanks to those who came before us.

Using the fly fishing system, I felt connected not only to the river but to a longstanding tradition that requires patience, respect, and skill. There’s something deeply meditative about fly fishing, especially on a day like this, as I cast each line with purpose. The coho were plentiful today, and the thrill of catching each one was amplified by the quiet reverence of the day. It’s a powerful reminder of the cycles of life, and the connection between nature’s rhythms and human resilience.

As I brought in one coho after another, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the freedom to do what I love in such a breathtaking environment. The river was quiet, yet alive with the energy of the season, and each coho I caught felt like a tribute to the perseverance of those we remember today.

This day of fishing on Remembrance Day was more than a hobby—it was an homage to courage, strength, and the peace that has been hard-won. The coho salmon, in their strength and resilience, seemed fitting companions on this reflective journey.

Fly fishing for coho Vancouver

 Fly fishing for coho Vancouver

“Hello! I had a very successful fishing trip, catching coho salmon using fly fishing. I want to write a detailed post about this on my blog, sharing lots of photos and videos and describing the fishing experience in detail. We caught coho salmon with a fly fishing setup, using an eight-weight rod, ten-pound leader, and an olive UV fly with a chartreuse bead. It was an amazing fishing day. Please write an English text for me.

Vedder river steelhead

Vedder river steelhead

If you’re ready for steelhead fishing, soon we can head to the Vedder River to catch some steelhead. Just a few months left! I want to share one of my steelhead fishing stories with you. I’ve been fishing for steelhead in the Vedder River for three years now. In my first year, I managed to catch two steelhead. In the second year, I caught five. In the third year, which was just last year, I managed to catch eleven steelhead. And all these steelhead were caught with a centerpin rod. But this year, I sold my centerpin and want to catch them using fly fishing. I got myself a double-handed fly rod, so this will be my first serious season fly fishing for steelhead. Thought you might enjoy reading this story…
