Last weekend, Ali, Shahrokh, and I went on an exciting saltwater fishing trip in the ocean. Shahrokh, who was visiting us from the US, was our special guest in Vancouver. We had an amazing time, catching a variety of salmon: three spring salmon, coho salmon, and pink salmon. We also witnessed some incredible whale sightings, including their spectacular leaps out of the water. It was truly a memorable adventure, and I can’t wait to share the photos and stories on my Instagram and blog!

While I was fly fishing, I caught a very small trout. As I guided it towards me in the shallow water, right in front of my eyes, a big Brook Trout attacked and swallowed the fish 😳. It was such an unusual scene for me! I had seen similar moments online where one fish attacks another, but this was the first time it happened to me in real life

On July 5, 2025, I had an amazing fishing experience at Ross Lake, near the Skagit River. I enjoyed fishing both from the boat and the shore. The day was filled with great catches and beautiful scenery. It was truly a memorable day of fishing!

Recently, I had an amazing fly fishing adventure at Roche Lake. My target was the beautiful rainbow trout, and I’m thrilled to share that we caught and released many of them! We experimented with different techniques, which made the experience even more exciting. The serene environment of the lake combined with the thrill of the catch made for an unforgettable day.
