We were fly fishing when we hooked a small rainbow trout. As we were getting ready to net it, something unbelievable happened a huge Bull Trout suddenly attacked the rainbow trout on our line!
It happened three times, and we were completely shocked watching this incredible scene. After a few seconds, the Bull Trout disappeared.
We tried everything to catch it, but it wouldn’t take our flies. Then we caught another small rainbow trout, and once again, the same Bull Trout attacked the fish on the hook.
That’s when we realized this Bull Trout was only interested in a bigger meal. I decided to switch to a very large streamer fly, and finally, after the right presentation and patience, I was able to land this amazing fish!
What an unforgettable fly fishing experience. Nature always finds a way to surprise us. 🐟🔥
