چند روز پیش کاپتان دهکده تارپون برای من عکس ماهی صید شده تارپون را ارسال کرد که با دیدن این عکس ها باعث شد من این مقاله را بنویسم ، البته از قبل این مقاله را نوشته بودم ولی امروز با دیدن کامنت دوست عزیز که نوشته بود چرا از ماهی های صید شده توسط من بیرون از آب درون قایق عکس نگرفتید ، تصمیم گرفتم مقاله را تکمیل تر کنم و منتشر کنم
با پیشرفت علم ماهیگیری ورزشی بگیر و رها کن هشتکی به وجود آمده به نام keepemwet# که این هشتک بیانگر این هست در ماهیگیری ورزشی بگیرو رها کن حق بیرون آورد ماهی صید شده از آب نداریم و ماهی برای مدتی که قرار هست عکس گرفته شود باید در آب باشد و از آب خارج نشود
الان در حال حاظر حرفه ای ترین‌ماهیگیران ورزشی دنیا از این قانون پیروی می کنند
در کانادا هم همچین قانونی برای صید ورزشی ماهی with sturgeon وجود دارد که ماهیگیر فقط مجاز به بیرون آوردن‌ماهی زیر ۶ فوت را برای عکس گرفتن درون قایق یا اسکله را دارد و اگر ماهی سایز بزرگتری بود حق بیرون آوردن ماهی از آب ندارد و باید از ماهی در داخل آب عکس بگیرد ! و در غیره این صورت تخلف صورت‌گرفته ! البته در مواقعی که ماهیگیر درون آب هست خارج کردن ماهی برای مدت کوتاه مشکلی نیست زیرا با افتادن ماهی دباره به آب برمی گرد و صدمه نمی بیند ولی اگر ماهی به ساحل بیاوریم با افتادن‌ماهی صدمه های زیادی به ماهی وارد می شود

پیش سفرنامه ماهیگیری صید تارپون با سیستم فلای فیشینگ قسمت ۱
تقریبا ۲ سال پیش بود که به خرید اولین ست تخصصی چوب و چرخ فلای فیشینگ کلاس سنگین آبشور رفتم ،
همچین هزینه خریدش برام راحت نبود ولی با تمام
علاقه ای که داشتم باید این‌کارو می کردم ،
چوبی انتخاب کردم بسیار مقاوم به همراه‌چرخ بسیار قوی
مدل چوب G.Loomis NRX Saltwater
مدل چرخ Nautilus Silver King
وقتی عکس چوب و چرخ در فیسبوکم قرار دادم کامنت از طرف یکی از پیشکسوتان
فلای فیشینگ آبشور کانادا دریافت کردم و متوجه شدم چه کار عجیب غریبی و
بزرگی انجام دادم
چوب چرخ به دلار آمریکا خیلی زیاد نبود ، چوب حدود ۹۰۰ دلار و چرخ حدود ۷۰۰
دلار و نخ حدود ۱۰۰ دلار ولی به دلار کانادا مبلغ ها کمی زیاد شد
و چوب بعد از مالیات حدود ۱۲۰۰ دلار و چرخ به همراه
نخ بعد از مالیات حدود ۱۲۰۰ دلار شد
واقعا دنیای فلای فیشینگ بسیار بزرگ و‌گسترده هست اگر بخوام بر گردم عقب
تر داستان اولین فلای فیشینگ آبشور در ایران تعریف کنم ماجرا به این صورت
بود که من در جنوب ایران متولد شدم ، درسته هیچ وقت دسترسی به مناطقی که
ماهی خال قرمز بومی ایران بود رو نداشتم و یا هیچ وقت به صید اردک ماهی به
شمال ایران نرفتم ولی همیشه یک پام در خلیج فارس بود و از بچگی سالی دو
یا سه بار در آب شور خلیج فارس ماهیگیری می کردم و اولین تجربه ماهیگیری من
از همون دوران کودکی با گرفتن ماهی در چاله های آبی که توسط جزر و مد به و
جود امده بود شروع شد
وقتی برای اولین بار با سیستم‌فلای فیشینگ به صید ماهی به خلیج فارس رفتم
واقعا هیچ‌اطلاعاتی در دنیای مجازی و جود نداشت که بتونم راهنمای بگیرم و
یا از کسی اطلاعاتی بگیرم و من شروع به ماهیگیری با فلای فیشینگ در سواحل
مختلف و جزیره های مختلف خلیج فارس پرداختم
بعد ها کارم در ترکیه و کانادا ادامه دادم و دامنه فعالیت های ماهیگیری
فلای آبشورمو فقط به خاطر کیفیت بالای ماهیگیری آبشور در کشور های
آمریکایی میانی ادامه دادم و اولین‌تجربه فوق حرفه ای فلای فیشینگ آبشورمو
روی قایق در اقیانوس آرام سمت مکزیک انجام دادم
الان که به بک‌گراند فلای فیشینگ آبشور خودم نگاه می کنم باید فراتر از همیشه دنبال هدف های بزرگ باشم
و هیچ وقت نخواستم یک شبه ره صد ساله را برم تا اینکه در جستجوی
ماهیگیران بزرگ کانادا از طریق ماهیگیر مورد علاقم خانم آپریل با خانم
دیگری آشنا شدم به نام کتی واتسون و اتفاقی در پیگیری هایم در شبکه های
اجتماعی دوبار موفق به ملاقات این فرد در ماهیگیری شدم و بعد ها متوجه شدم
ایشان در حال تشکیل گروهی برای فلای فیشینگ آبشور هستند و سفری به
کاستاریکا برای صید تارپون های قول پیکر با سیستم فلای فیشینگ در حال
برنامه ریزی هستند
باید راستشو بگم من نمی خواستم یک دفعه قدم بزرگی در فلای فیشینگ آبشور
بردارم و هدفم اول می خواستم در یکی از شهر های مکزیک برای صید تارپون های
کوچک اقدام کنم ولی قسمت این شد به فکر کاستاریکا بیوفتم و هدفم رو دها
برابر بزرگتر بگیرم
حواشی برنامه صید تارپون با سیستم فلای فیشینگ در کاستاریکا
در این برنامه نه قدرت طوفان درورین دریای کارائیب تونست جلوی من رو بگیره نه بیماری تب لرز ناگهانی بسیار شدید چند روز اول با آن دستو پنجه نرم کردم
واقعا چیزی مثل هفت خان رستم بود چند شب اول طوفان به هدی زیاد بود شب از درد بدنم و مریضی شدید و صدا پرتاب شدن نارگیل ها و سقوط درختان تا صبح نتوانستم بخوابم و به خودم از درد میپیچیدم ولی هر بار صبح با صدای فریاد میمون ها در جنگل متوجه روشن شدن هوا می شدم و نگاه موبایلم می کردم کامنت ها و پیام دوستان عزیز رو میدیم به من انرژی میداد برای شروع روز با قدرت تمام
در این برنامه من یک قایق رو از کار انداختم ، در زمان‌جنگندگی با ماهی تارپون بزرگ چندین بار از این ور قایق به اون ور قایق مجبور شدم با سرعت زیاد جا عوض کنم که یک بار به صورت اتفاقی روی شلنگ و سیم های موتور پا گذاشتم و همشون کنده شدند !
البته کاپتان به من گفت نگران‌نباش Part of the game این اتفاق بخشی از گیم هست
و خیلی عالی بود تیم متشکل از سه قایق بودیم که به کمک ما آمدند
نکته دیگه صاحب اصلی دهکده تارپون فرد بسیار مشهوری بود که فکر کنم اکثر ماهیگیران ایران آن را می شناسند و یک کلیپ مشهور را از ماهیگیری ایشان رو دیدن
فیلمی که ماهیگیری با فلای فیشینگ کوسه ای رو صید می کنه و این‌ماهی بارها و بارها جامپ می کنه کوسه ای از نژاد ماکو و اسم صاحب دهکده تارپون کاپتان مارک مارتین بود
در زمان های گذشته وقتی در جنوب ایران شروع به فلای فیشینگ کردم اولین هدفم این بود که به خیلی از ماهیگیران ایران ثابت کنم که با فلای فیشینگ هم در ایران میشه بسیار راحت ماهیگیری کرد و ماهی های قزل الا رودخانه و ماهی کپور و حتی ماهی های آبشور خلیج فارس رو با فلای فیشینگ صید کرد و الان با گذشت دها سال بزرگترین هدفم در این برنامه کاستاریکا این بود به تمام ماهیگیران عزیز ایران ثابت کنم با سیستم فلای فیشینگ هم میشه هر ماهی رو صید کرد حتی در ماهیگیری های Big Game
اگر از نظر فنی و تجهیزات چوب و چرخ و نخ فلای فیشینگ را با دیگر سیستم‌های‌ماهیگیری Big Game مقایسه کنیم هیچ تفاوتی از نظر قدرت بین دیگر سیستم ها با فلای فیشینگ وجود ندارد ، ما چوب های فلای فیشینگ داریم به همان قدرت چوب های اسپنینگ و چرخ و نخ هم همین جور !
در این برنامه نخ فلای فیشینگ من کاملا روکش پلاستیکی اون تیکه تیکه شد ولی در مرکز نخ فلای فیشینگ آبشور نخ بسیار مقاوم ماهیگیری وجود دارد دقیقا همان‌نخ که در Big Game روی چرخ اسپنینگ استفاده میشه و روکش پلاستیکی روی آن فقط نقش شناور ماندن و وزن دهی به پرتاب داشت !
نمی گم صید تارپون های سایز بزرگ راحته همون اندازه ای که برای سیستم‌ترولینگ و اسپنینگ مشکله برای فلای فیشینگ هم همان‌مشکلات را داره فقط به جرعتمی تونم بگم در فلای فیشینگ کمی در جنگندگی با ماهی سختره اونم به خاطر شکل فیزیکی چوب فلای هست که دسته بسیار کوچکی داره که ماهیگیر نیاز به انرژی بیشتری برای پمپ کردن‌ماهی نیاز داره و قبل از چرخ دسته بلندی وجود نداره برای تکیه به بدن برای کمک به پمپاژ ، برای همین صید ماهی تارپون بزرگ یا هر ماهی بزرگ دیگری در سیستم فلای فیشینگ نیاز به تمرین بسیار زیاد و قدرت فراوان دارد
در تحقیقاتی که انجام دادم‌متوجه شدم‌حداقل باید بیش از دها ماهی تارپون رو صید کرد که تو این تعداد بشه تعدادی رو با موفقیت لند کرد و واقعا من دستمزد سالیان سال تمرین در فلای فیشینگ دریافت‌کردم که در دو حمله تارپون بزرگ‌موفق شدم هردو رو لند کنم و این موفقیت ۱۰۰٪ بود !
در گروه ۵ تا تارپون بزرگ دیگر هم صید شد که هیچ‌کدام‌از ماهیگیران نتوانستند ماهی لند کنند افرادی که بین ۱۰ تا ۴۰ سال تجربه خالص فلای فیشینگ فیشینگ ابشور را داشتند برای همین برای من ارزش کارو صدها برابر می کرد
من در این‌گروه با هیچکس رقابت نداشتم و اثبات اون هم این بود که در ابتدای ماهیگیری من بهترین پشه های بافت‌خودمو به همه رایگان دادم !
ولی واقعا با این هزینه سنگین‌همه انتظار نتیجه خوب داشتند و نتیجه نگرفتن یه جوری رفتار همه تحت تاثیر خود قرار داده بود به اندازه ای که وقتی ماهی اول دوم توسط من صید و لند شد هیچ‌ماهیگیری چه در قایق من و دیگر قایق های نزدید هیچ فیلم و عکسی نگرفتند در صورتی که‌من هر لحظه آماده عکاسی و فیلمبرداری از دیگران بودم !
یک‌مشکل بزرگ‌دیگر بود که فقط ماهیگیرانی که‌ماهی سایز بزرگ را در این نوع مدل قایق ها صید کردند متوجه‌میشوند این بود که به دلیل این که ما ماهیگیری ورزشی بگیر و رها کن را انجام میدادیم مجاز به استفاده از گاف نبودیم و ماهی تارپون هم اصلا جای دست برای گرفتن ندارد و تنها راه گرفتن‌ماهی کردن دست در ابشوش ماهی یا دهان‌ماهی بود که واقعا روی قایق حتی این‌کار هم برای یک‌ماهی سایز زیر ۵ کیلو کپور هم کار بسیار مشکلی چه برسه ماهی های بالای سایز ۵۰ و۶۰ کیلو تارپون ، به نظر من کار بسیار بسیار سختی بود
مخصوصا ماهی تارپون که اصلا شکست ناپذیره و خسته نمیشه ، من ماهی دوم بیش از ۱۵ بار به کنار قایق آوردم دقیقا‌‌چسبیده به قایق و حتی یک بار هم ماهی بدون حال و بی هوش رو به شکم روی اب قرار گرفت که کاملا فیلم این صحنه ثبت شده ولی هر بار که کاپتان سعی دست کردن در دهان ماهی یا آبشوش آن را داشت ماهی با یک دم کوچک ۱۰متر از قایق دور می شد و اگر ما بگیرو رها کن کار نمی کردیم و گاف داشتیم در همان مرحله اول هردو ماهی را ضربه فنی می کردیم
واقعا سخته ماهی سایز بزرگ بخوابم با دست بگیریم
ما ۶ نفر فلای فیشر بودیم که‌جمعا با هم حدود ۶۰ هزار دلار هزینه کرده بودیم نفری حدود ۱۰ تا ۱۲ هزار دلار و واقعا بسیار دلخراش بود که دوستان نتوانستند ماهی رو لند کنند و تنها به همان‌چنتا جامپ ماهی قانع بودند و چند ماهی جک دم زرد و من هم هیچ وقت فراموش نمی کنم این‌موفقیت رو و در آن زمان سعی کردم تا موقعی که در گروه هستم رفتاری نکنم که باعث رنجش افراد گروه بشم و همیشه بحث های خارج از ماهیگیری انجام می دادم و با دوستان می گفتم و می خندیدم
نکته بسیار قابل اهمیت در این برنامه پرتاب های بسیار صحیح من در تالاب میان‌جنگل بود که تقریبا هیچ پرتاب اشتباهی که منجرب گیر کردن پشه من در درختان بشه رو انجام‌ندادم و تنها دلیل موفقیت دیگرم در تالاب و صید سه بچه تارپون دیگر همین تسلت کاملم روی پرتاب ها بود و نتیجه سالیان سال تمرین سخت را دریافت‌کردم
و نکته بسیار جالب دیگر تایید بهترین‌پشه های مینو بافته شده توسط من به وسیله کاپتان بود که هم شکل و هم طول و هم رنگ آن استاندار کامل داشت و باز همم تجربه سالیان‌سال پشه بافی در این زمینه خودش را نشان داد
من در این برنامه از چوب برند gloomis مدلNRX کلاس ۱۲ استفاده کردم‌که چوب خالی ۱۲۰۰ دلار کانادا خریده بودم و از چرخ مارک nautilus مدل silver king استفاده کردم که این مدل برگرفته از نام‌تارپون هست
و این‌چرخ بسیار قوی در کلاس ۱۲ من حدود ۱۲۰۰ دلار کانادا هزینه کرده بودم
من روی سه چرخ فلای فیشینگ خودم یک بار روی تمام چرخ ها مجموع ۷۰۰ یارد نخ بکینگ با کیفیت بالا بستم به قدرت کشش ۳۰ پوند ولی دباره پشیمان شدم و یک بار دیگر همان هزینه‌کردم و قدرت نخ بکینگ را به ۸۰ پوند ارتقاع دادم که هر بار حدود ۱۵۰ تا ۲۰۰ دلار
هزینه نخ بکین ها شد
پشه ها را برو روی قلاب سایز
۷/۰ و ۶/۰ بافتم ، روی قلاب آب شور برند اونر که ۵ عدد از آنها ۱۲ دلار بود
از نخ لیدر قدرت بین ۸۰ تا ۱۰۰ پوند برند Scientific Anglers استفاده کردم که هر حلقه حدود ۶۰ دلار خریده بودم
نخ فلای ۱۴۰ دلاری مارک RIO تهیه کردم و در مجموع سه حلقه یدک که نخ فلای فیشینگ اصلی من روکش اون در زمان‌جنگندگی با ماهی کاملا روکش پلاستیکی آن از نخ اصلی جدا شد و آن نخ را هفته پیش به وارانتی شرکت RIO ارسال کردم برای تعویض
ماهی تارپون اول حدود ۱۰ دقیقه طول کشید که به چشم کاپتان‌حدود ۶۰ کیلو بود و ماهی تارپون دوم حدود ۲۰ دقیقه جنگندگی طول کشید که به چشم کاپتان حدود ۷۰ کیلو بود
وقتی ماهی ها در کنار قایق پرش می کردند امواج به وجود آمده توسط پرش ماهی قایق رو تکان می داد واقعا صحنه های بی نظیر و بسیار هیجان انگیزی بود
تا جای که من چندین بار اسم امام زمان را صدا زدم 😂 دوپینگ به روش ایرانی
در این برنامه حدود ۱۰۰۰ دلار من پول توجیبی هزینه کردم و هر بار استفاده از قایق باید ۵۰ دلار انعام میدادم
حدود ۲۴۰ دلار هزینه هتل در بین‌مسیر راه پرداخت‌کردم
و دوبار هم از اتوبوس بیش لز ۶ ساعت برای جا به جای بین شهر های کاستاریکا استفاده کردیم که حدود ۹۰ دلار پرداخت‌کردم
و حدود ۲۹۰ دلار هم به افرادی که قایق را هدایت می کردن در روز آخر پرداخت کروم
هزینه استفاده از لاندری هم ۲۵ دلار بود
به نظر من قسمتی از تاریخ‌ماهیگیری فلای فیشینگ ایران رقم خورد و واقعا هم به همین نیت این سفر رو انتخاب کردم و تا خرخره در بدهکاری فرو رفتم ولی هر بار مرور خاطرات این برنامه درد بدهکاری برایم بسیار شیرین می کند
من‌خیلی در این‌مسیر سختی کشیم از پشه بافی بگیر تا پرتاب و حدود ۸ سال در جنوب ایران به تنهای تمرین فلای فیشینگ داشتم بدون این که حتی یک فلای کار رو از نزدیک به بینم
و بارها با ابتدایی ترین‌تجهیزات فلای فیشینگ کار کردم
همان‌‌جوری که در بالا گفتم بزرگترین هدفم در این برنامه این بود به همه ثابت کنم در فلای فیشینگ محدودیت خواصی وجود ندارد و مثل تمام سیستم های ماهیگیری دیگر در هر کلاسی قابل استفاده هست تازه چوب من‌کلاس ۱۲ بود و چوبهای فلای فیشینگ بسیار سنگینتری هم داریم تا کلاس ۱۶ که برای مارلین استفاده میشه
خیلی خوشحالم جزو خوشانسترین‌ماهیگیری دنیا بودم که تجربه ماهیگیری موفقی در grand slam fly fishing داشتم‌مکانی که بزرگترین های دنیا به جنگ‌ماهی های قولپیکر میرن به قول دوستان عزیز ماهیگیری بیگ‌گیم

can't believe we have spotted such an amazing event it is a fly
fisherman's dream ! yeah to see such an amazing event ! oh my god ! oh
my god we were so excited it's crazy The Tarpon were hunting the small
beat fish that were swarming in the waters there's so many of them I was
shocked we were all shocked When I was stripping the fly I can't
believe a giant tarp and smashed my fly it was surreal The giant tarpon
went on the boat and tried to break my ride he was wild so very wild
it's kind of spooky but it was fun Finally caught the Tarpon and we made
history and it was a dream come true yeah I loved every minute of it
and thank you Katie Watson for everything it was a wonderful trip we all
enjoyed it this experience fly fishing for ever
It is with a major respect that I caught a tarpon on the fly it was one
of my best fishing experiences ever I will never forget after catching
this wonderful fish I had myself a good cry As I could not believe what
has happened I am forever grateful to everyone involved with this great
fishing event at Tarpon Village in Costa Rica all I can say is oh my God

thank you thank you thank you I loved every minute of it I want to thank
the fishing guides ,the people of made all the food and the people
working at the lodge it was incredible, the first couple of days was
raining and then I hit luck went out and caught two fish monster fish
one about 130 pounds and 140 pounds (60 Kg and 70 Kg ) I was so happy I
was crying when I caught the fish I could not believe my luck it was
Happyville all over again I got both of them within one hour all they
where beautiful and so wonderful to put them back where they came from
the deep blue sea's of the ocean I would totally do this trip again it
was well worth it oh and the animals and the bugs monkeys screaming in
the trees early in the morning lots of monster spiders it was crazy but
well worth experiencing happy to all of us who went on this glorious
trip I loved every minute of it but happy to be back home my skipper dog
missed me very much he was so happy to see me jumping around like a

my god we were so excited it's crazy The Tarpon were hunting the small
beat fish that were swarming in the waters there's so many of them I was
shocked we were all shocked When I was stripping the fly I can't
believe a giant tarp and smashed my fly it was surreal The giant tarpon
went on the boat and tried to break my ride he was wild so very wild
it's kind of spooky but it was fun Finally caught the Tarpon and we made
history and it was a dream come true yeah I loved every minute of it
and thank you Katie Watson for everything it was a wonderful trip we all
enjoyed it this experience fly fishing for ever
It is with a major respect that I caught a tarpon on the fly it was one
of my best fishing experiences ever I will never forget after catching
this wonderful fish I had myself a good cry As I could not believe what
has happened I am forever grateful to everyone involved with this great
fishing event at Tarpon Village in Costa Rica all I can say is oh my God
I can't believe but it happened thank you thank you thank you love love
love

it was so much fun with everyone I met was so many amazing people John-
Jordan @sryvatoloco11 , Reneex @zinderhund Alex @salmonibae and a big
shout out to ♥️🙏♥️ @katywat who helped plan this amazing event we
thank you thank you thank you I loved every minute of it I want to thank
the fishing guides ,the people of made all the food and the people
working at the lodge it was incredible, the first couple of days was
raining and then I hit luck went out and caught two fish monster fish
one about 130 pounds and 140 pounds (60 Kg and 70 Kg ) I was so happy I
was crying when I caught the fish I could not believe my luck it was
Happyville all over again I got both of them within one hour all they
where beautiful and so wonderful to put them back where they came from
the deep blue sea's of the ocean I would totally do this trip again it
was well worth it oh and the animals and the bugs monkeys screaming in
the trees early in the morning lots of monster spiders it was crazy but
well worth experiencing happy to all of us who went on this glorious
trip I loved every minute of it but happy to be back home my skipper dog
missed me very much he was so happy to see me jumping around like a

زمانی که ایران را با میلیون ها ایرانی و هزاران هزار ماهیگیر ترک کردم و وارد سرزمین‌های دور افتاده نورت آمریکا شدم دیگه خبری از اون جمعیت زیاد ایرانی ها و ماهیگیران نبود و روابط بین‌ماهیگیران اینجا کمی متفاوت تر از اون چیزی که در ایران دیده بودم احساس می شد
کمی برام‌سخت بود پیدا کرن ماهیگیران ایرانی عزیز مقیم کانادا ولی کم کم به مرور زمان به صورت اتفاقی چه در طبیعت و دنیای مجازی ماهیگیران ایرانی عزیز را ملاقات می کردم ،
به جرعت می تونم بگم سطح‌ماهیگیری که در بین ایرانیان داخل ایران دیدم خیلی متفاوت تر از ماهیگیران مقیم کانادا بود
با تعداد درصد کم ایرانی های که اینجا زندگی می کردند همان تعداد ماهیگیر ایرانی هم بسیار کم بود و پیدا کردن این ماهیگیران هم وطن عزیز هم همان مقدار مشکل بود
خیلی وقت ها ماهیگیران ایرانی عزیز را میدیم که در رودخانه سعی داشتند با روش های عجیب غریب ماهی صید کنند و همیشه برام عجیب بود که چرا اینقدر سطح ماهیگیری بسیار متفاوتی دارم می بینم ، البته نا گفته نماند ماهیگیران بسیار حرفه ای کار هم داشتیم ولی اینقدر تعداد آنها کم بود که شاید با سالها ماهیگیری در ونکوور هیچ وقت اسم آنها را نمی شنیدم
کمی اولش برام سخت بود منی که سالیان سال بین‌ماهیگیران بسیار زیاد ایرانی ماهیگیری کرده بودم پیدا کردن دوستان صمیمی اینجا بسیار برام سخت بود ، دیگه خبری از اون ماهیگیران که در ایران دیده بودم نبود
مثل همیشه فعالیت هامو شروع کردم و مستند های کوتاه ماهیگیری را اینجا استارتشو زدم ،و گروه های تلگرامی و فیسبوک در این زمینه ماهیگیری راه اندازی کردم و کم کم داشتم می شدم اون ابی فیشر که ایران بود و یه تعدادی از آدم ها هم‌میشناسنش ،
یه بار در یک رستوران خارجی کار می کردم وقتی داشتم به‌مشتری ها سرویس می دادم فردی خارجی که روی صندلی نشسته بود به من گفت شما ابی فیشر هستید من ویدو های شما را در اینترنت دیدم و چقدر خوشحالم‌کرد و چندین بار دیگر همین‌اتفاق مشابه در جاهای مختلف اتفاق افتاد کم‌کم از فعالیت هام در ونکوور داشت‌می گذشت و همان داستان های ایران داشت برام دباره تکرار می شد و درسته با اینکه برام تازگی نداشت ولی خبر بسیار خوبی برام در کانادا بود و خوشحالم‌می کرد
خدایش گذشت اون سالها و باورش سخته ! سالی ۱ فلای فیشر به جمعیت ونکوور ها کانادا اضافه می کردم و الان بعد از سالیان سال تعداد فلای فیشر من ها داره به تعداد انگشت های دست می رسه ! و برام خیلی خبر خوبی بود وقتی می شنیدم و می دیدم ماهیگیری اینجا فلای فیشینگ کار می کنه و یا در گروه های مجازی گاهی ماهیگیری عکس یا فیلم فلای فیشینگ قرار میده
ولی خدایش الان دیگه‌مثل ۶ یا ۷ سال پیش نیست و سطح‌ماهیگیری فلای فیشینگ‌ایرانی های عزیز مقیم ونکوور داره هر روز قوی تر میشه به دلیل زمینه آموزش قوی که در کانادا وجود داره
من شاهد رشد و شکوفایی فلای کارای ایرانی مقیم‌ایران و ایرانی های مقیم کانادا بودم واقعا سطح پیشرفت اینجا خیلی سریع تر از ایران هست و دلیلش امکانات فراوان و فرهنگ متفاوت و طبیعت با پتانسیل بالا هست
ونکوور مثل یک‌مزرعه برام می مونه که سالیان سال برای کشت محصول زحمت کشیدم والان موقع به هدف رساندن اهدافم هست و تصمیم به راه اندازی مدرسه فلای فیشینگ دارم
البته به صورت غیره رسمی فعالیت های زیادی کردم و به صورت voluntary فلای آموزان زیادی تدریس کردم و الان زمان اون هست که به صورت جدی فعالیت های رسمی ماهیگیری خودم رو شروع کنم
هیچ وقت این‌کارو نکردم تا اینکه احساس کنم سطح‌ماهیگیری فلای فیشینگ خودم به اندازه فلای کاران کانادا برسه و حتی احساس میکنم الان خیلی بالاتر زده 😂🤭

to believe what a day we had the scenery was something out of this
world the fishing was incredible I caught this wild Beauty on the dry

The weather was wet the #flyfishing was awesome in the beautiful valley
and the mountains calling in the rains it was surreal and very pleasant
at the same time the white #trout where jumping and laughing in the
waters of the spectacular #river we had fun #ties the evening was oh so
grand the rains came down hard it was so joyful and peaceful listening
to the hoots of an owl deer afoot in the valleys all for the love of
Mother #Nature ♥️♥️
Of
what a glorious stay our over night camping and fishing at Ross lake
the sixty Kilometer drive up to the lake is quite beautiful once we got
to the lake we where surprised Ross lake was not a lake but now a river
rustling through the once lake it was quite the sight it's the first
time in fifteen years that there was no lake apparently the park rangers
Said the mountains hardly had any snow hence no run off. The fishing
was wonderful at the lake the scenery breathtaking I caught incredible
rainbow trout further up the river was fish where biting lots of
enjoyment from a peaceful place I love Ross lake and it's surrounding
Beauty 8/10
The picture perfect Skagit River is a trout fishing hot spot between July 1st and October 31st.
Accessible by 2 wheel drive and located only 2 hours outside of
Vancouver. The Skagit River offers anglers a dry and wet fly fishing for
wild rainbow trout and bull trout. In this blog post we will cover some
of the flies, lures and rod combos to help you get started.
I must say, after this great adventure and only a couple hours from
where I reside in the lower mainland, I will be back full force again
and make many more trips in the years to come.
I have yet to see such a river which offers so many challenges but
great ones at that, from wading chest deep to ankle high, the fish were
in many areas, areas which most people would wade through or not think
fish would hold in. There were also pools and tail outs on runs that
were also a challenge to access. If you have a wading staff I would
suggest bringing one just to be on the safe side, this will help you
access many more areas on the river that might be a challenge to wade to
alone.

There is one thing which I haven’t covered yet, the Mosquito’s. Make
sure to bring bug spray, we unfortunately we not allowed to have any
fires due to the provincial wide fire ban but we managed them by bathing
in some deep woods repellant and wearing sweaters and pants after dark.
If
there is a prettier trout stream than the Skagit somewhere I can't
think of one. Having sampled all of British Columbia's trout streams,
and many of those in Alberta, the United States, New Zealand and
Tasmania, I don't know of a more scenic stream than the Skagit River.

Certainly,
there are many beautiful streams with larger and more challenging
fish, and rivers with better insect hatches, but for sheer physical
beauty, none can top the Skagit River. To have such a jewel so
close to a major city is a blessing that all fly fishermen should
treasure.
The
Skagit River is a trout stream we almost lost. The British Columbia
government signed away the water rights during World War II. For
the princely sum of only a dollar an acre, Seattle City Light
had the formal right to raise Ross Dam at any time and flood a
further 10 miles of the Skagit Valley. British Columbia wouldn't
have had even a lake out of the deal because during water draw
down only an ugly mud flat remains. As it is, the so called Ross
Lake Reservoir is nothing but a mile of mud flats and dead trees
on the Canadian side of the border.
About
1965, Seattle City Light made its intentions clear that it intended
to raise the Ross Dam. By that time many anglers from the Lower
Mainland had discovered the excellent trout fishing on the Skagit.
They began to petition the government to stop the project, but
their cries fell on deaf ears. The W.A.C Bennett government cared
nothing for the environment and thought only of development. Rape
and Run was their motto as long as it created jobs. It wasn't
until 1967 when our mass protest in the valley got newspaper coverage
that the government finally listened. After that, negotiations
continued for almost 20 years before a settlement was finally
reached. An agreement was signed in 1985 where British Columbia
would supply cheap power from its Columbia Dam system in exchange
for getting our land back. Considering what we almost lost, the
agreement was a steal.
As
a trout stream the Skagit River is priceless. It rises high in
mountains of Manning Provincial Park and flows west until it runs
headlong into Sumallo Creek that flows eastward. The two streams
join at Sumallo Cedar Grove on the Hope-Princeton highway, then
push their way south-west through a narrow mountain valley until
spilling onto the glaciated flood plain that we know as the Skagit
Valley. From there, the Skagit River joins Klesilkwa Creek and
turns south towards the U.S. border and Ross Reservoir. As a crow
flies, it is about eight miles from Sumallo Grove to the 26 mile
bridge in the Skagit Valley and another 10 miles to the reservoir.
As a river flows it is many more miles than that.
The
upper Skagit is a mountain creek where it crosses back and forth
across the Hope-Princeton highway. It contains only a few small
trout. Sumallo Creek isn't much better and the fish are just as
tiny. It isn't until several miles downstream that the Skagit
becomes the classic trout stream that fly fishermen know and love.
Fortunately, from Sumallo Grove downstream to the Skagit Valley
the river has been protected from logging and is still in its
natural state. There are no roads and only one hiking trail along
the river. In the Skagit Valley basin, a gravel road parallels
the river as far as the reservoir. Luckily, the road is far enough
away from the river so as not to destroy its beauty.
The
Skagit from Sumallo Grove to Klesilkwa Creek, and from there downstream
to the reservoir are like two completely different rivers. The
upper river is contained in a very narrow mountain valley. It
drops in a series of pools and rapids until reaching the mid-way
point. Then it slows down into a series of glides and runs. The
water is crystalline and the pools emerald green. There are a
few log jambs, but for the most part the pools remain stable from
year to year. In some places, huge trees form natural bridges
over the stream. The conservatory section with it stand of large
cedar and old growth Douglas fir trees is especially beautiful.
Every fishy looking run and pool has its own resident trout. Anglers
are rewarded by seeing the trout rise to a well presented dry
fly.
The
Skagit from the 26 mile bridge downstream is a different river
entirely. It meanders back and forth across a flood plain. There
are long runs, wide gravel bars, tangled log jambs and deep slow
pools. It is no less beautiful, just different. Where the upper
river is too wild to run in a raft, the lower river enchants the
river drifters. However, in high water beware! The Skagit River
buries canoes every year in its log jambs. Even in the ugly mud
flats near the reservoir there are good pools for anglers who
don't mind the scenery.
High
water occurs during snow pack run-off, usually from May through
July. The best fishing is normally during August and September,
just when lakes are in the doldrums. The river is closed to fishing
from November 1 to June 30 and there are catch and release regulations
for the entire stream. Although any angling method is allowed,
the use of bait is not permitted. This allows children to use
spinning rods. Most anglers on the Skagit River prefer to fly
fish.
Many
years before the Ross Reservoir was built, the Skagit river contained
native cutthroat as well as rainbow trout and Dolly Varden char.
Anglers took pack-horse trips from Hope and caught cutthroat trout
to three pounds in the upper Skagit. After the dam was built,
only the Dolly Varden and rainbows survived. The lake was stocked
with domestic rainbow trout and these interbred with the wild
strain. U.S. anglers caught huge numbers of fish in the reservoir
and killed most of what they landed. Today, rainbows that have
migrated up from the lake to spawn make up the bulk of the river
catch. The few that take up residency are usually the larger fish
in the river. A few huge dollies are also taken each season. They
are commonly caught by spin fishermen, but the odd fly caster
gets one on a streamer pattern. Big dollies often grab small rainbows
that fly fishermen are playing
It
is the fly hatches that make the Skagit special. Mayflies, caddis
and stoneflies make up the Skagit trout's diet. During a summer
hatch, trout can be very selective to fly and presentation. Often,
very tiny flies are needed. The two exceptions are during caddis
hatches and when Western Green Drakes are active. These large
fat mayflies always bring trout to the surface. A dead drifted
emerger pattern in the surface film is very effective. In late
summer and fall, trout are more fussy. They move into the head
of runs and feed almost entirely on nymphs. They can be taken
on small beadhead fur body imitations. Often, the only rise is
just at dusk. A seemingly barren pool during the day will come
alive with rising trout in the evening. If there isn't an obvious
hatch, these trout will be feeding on tiny, natural drifting mayfly
nymphs in the surface film. Getting these trout to bite can be
frustrating. Dead drifting size 16 and 18 emerger patterns is
the answer.
A
few years ago a serious study was made of the Skagit Valley. A
number of proposals were suggested: including paving the access
road, developing and building more campsites, cutting more access
trails, clearing log jambs and establishing park buildings. Fortunately,
it was decided to leave well enough alone. Developing "wilderness"
only ruins it. Hopefully, with continued good management the Skagit
River will remain the fly fishing jewel of the Lower Mainland.
